Class Description

 

•Beginner Hatha Yoga is a simple gentle class good for beginners learning to do basic poses or those who are returning after time away. Practice fundamental yoga poses to gain strength and flexibility. Enjoy a restful deep relaxation at the end of class.

•Holistic Hatha Yoga includes all elements of physical yoga, such as breathing, stretching, and limbering, core strengthening, and classic yoga poses such as forward bends, backbends and twisting poses. This full mind-body workout will leave you feeling energized and refreshed.

•Power Yoga is based on standing poses, this class will strengthen, stretch and invigorate. Moving slowly and methodically from one pose to another, the class will open our press and give you a full body workout. Class ends with simple cooling stretches and a rejuvenating relaxation.

•Hatha Yoga incorporates props like blankets, bolsters, straps and blocks for stretching and core strengthening. Poses are modified to meet the individual student needs. Restorative poses are also introduced along with a restful relaxation at the end of class. Feel relaxed, restored, renewed, and rejuvenated

•Restorative Yoga is a form of active therapeutic relaxation that uses props and blankets to modify traditional yoga poses. The postures gently open the body to deep relaxation and healing.

•Foundations Yoga is devoted to new and beginning yoga students to set a solid foundation for a continued & successful yoga practice. Students will learn the names of yoga postures as well as alignment within the pose. Breathing techniques will be taught to support the physical postures. Carrie provides modifications in order for students to access poses in varying degrees of possibility that creates a safe & gentle environment for them.
